1. Seattle Garbage Pickup 2024

Residential garbage is collected weekly. Each street is assigned a specific day. Here’s how to find your trash day:

  • Navigate to City of Seattle utility services website (click here)
  • Type your home address information in the search bar
  • Your collection schedule will be displayed

How To Report Missed Trash Pickup In Seattle?

You need to fill out an online form to report a missed collection (click here). Keep in mind that your trash will be collected for free only if it’s the hauler’s fault. If your trash is missed due to your negligence, then you’ll have to pay a special fee.

The city provides curbside recycling pickup at no additional charge. You can find your schedule in the “Seattle Recycle It App.”

  • Large items will be collected on the next day of your regular garbage pickup day.
  • Once your appointment is scheduled, you must place all the appliances or large items at the collection point by 7 am.
  • Appliances and furniture must not exceed over 300 pounds in weight, 8 feet in length, and 4 feet in diameter.
  • The limit for electronic waste is 60 lbs.
  • You’ll have to pay $5 for batteries and CFLs.

Keep in mind that construction debris and tires will not be collected as part of bulky collection.

5. Seattle Trash Pickup Holiday Schedule 2024
