Keep in mind that only the city’s issued semi-automated carts are collected, which come in two different sizes, 96-gallon, and 64-gallon. Moreover, the city is divided into 5 zones, and each zone is assigned one specific day.

That’s why if you miss your pickup day, then you’ll have to wait for a whole week till the next collection day.

Where To Report Missed Pickup? If It’s Not Your Fault

If you’ve placed your cart on the curb at the assigned time and service is still not provided. Then, you need to report missed pickup and request a special pickup.

Before you call at 318 -673 -6300, ensure the following things:

  • Your cart was placed on the curb on time.
  • The lid of the cart was properly closed, and it was placed correctly.
  • There is no ticket/label on top of the lid or cart.
  • The refuse was placed loosely in the city’s approved wheeled cart.

If any of the rules were not followed, then it’s your fault, and no special pickup will be provided. Otherwise, your refuse will be collected within the next 24 hours.
