1. Nashville Trash Pick Up 2024

Garbage pickup in Nashville begins at 7 am, and curbside carts are collected till 5 pm. Each residential address is assigned a day for trash collection. Here’s how to find your day:

Nashville Trash Pickup Rules

Here’re the seven rules every citizen must follow:

  • Non Hazardous trash is collected once a week.
  • You must roll your carts to the curb by 7 am on your assigned day.
  • The lids of the cart must close properly.
  • Don’t put soil, construction debris, or any liquid in your cart.
  • Items must be bagged properly.
  • Remove your carts from the curbside before 7 pm as of your collection day.
  • All your carts must be at least 3 feet away from the road or any tree with hanging limbs and branches.

Keep in mind that dumping your trash in front of an empty property is a crime. So, make sure that you place your cart to curbside properly.

2. Nashville Recycling Schedule

Recyclables are collected every other week on the same day as your regular garbage collection day.

  • For double units and commercial buildings, the recycling schedule in Davidson County is once per month.

3. Nashville Bulk Trash Pickup 2024

The city provides bulk trash services on a need basis. Residents have to request a special pickup for a bulky collection.

  • This service is free for all residents of Davidson County.
