4. Chandler Recycling Schedule 2024
Curbside recyclables carts are collected every week. You can either find your recycling schedule through a call at 480 -782 -3510 or by the online portal (click here).
- Trash and recyclables are collected between 6 am to 5 pm, on your respective day.
- There is no fixed time for curbside pickup.
- You must remove your container before 9 am, the day after your collection day.
Accepted Items For Recycling
Paper, Newspaper, Junk mail, Food bags, Flatten cardboard, Shoe boxes, Pizza boxes (without any oil or grease marks), Eggs cartons, Plastic bottles, and Lids attached with original containers, Aluminium cans, Steel/tin cans, Empty aerosol cans, Beverage bottles, and Food jars are accepted.
Unaccepted Items
Mirrors, Windows, Metallic handles, Any type of plastic bag, Paper cup, Dirty cardboard, gift wraps, pet food, and paper towels.
Chandler Recycling Center
If you have a lot of recyclables that you can’t fit in the container. You can dispose of them at the Chandler recycling center.
- Two free visits are allowed to the collection centers.
- You can drop up to 400 tons here.
- The first 400 tons are free, then you have to pay a fee of $50 per ton.

5. Chandler Garbage Pickup Holiday 2024
The city doesn’t collect residential garbage on four holidays, as of the following:

Remember on holidays, the curbside collection is pushed to the next day. Suppose your trash was supposed to be collected on Thursday (Thanksgiving). But, due to the holiday, Thursday collection will be pushed to Friday, Friday pickup to Saturday, and so on.
