Who Pays The Fees

Big news for all who pay the Resource Recovery Special Charge (RRSC) on your Municipal Services Bill – which you probably know as your water bill.

From December 27, 2023, you will not have to pay extra for large item pickups scheduled with the city.

While mainly for water, this bill covers various services, including recycling, by the City of Madison Streets Division.

Homes paying the RRSC can drop off items for free starting December 28, 2023.

No extra charges at all! Whether it is old furniture or other bulky waste, if you are part of the RRSC program, it’s all free at the drop-off sites.
