3. Where To Report Missed Trash Collection In Milton?

If you’ve placed the carts on time (7 am), following all the rules and regulations. Still your carts are not emptied, then either call 311 or 905 -825 -6000 and report missed trash pickup.

The city will arrange a special collection schedule within the next 24 hours. Remember, it is the responsibility of the resident to report it on the same day, during office hours.

5. Milton Yard Waste Collection

Yard waste is collected from the first week of April to the second week of December.

Loose leaf collection is only available for the city of Oakville garbage pickup right now.

  • Cut and tie large branches into small bundles.
  • The size of branches must not exceed 4 feet.
  • Grass clipping is not collected as yard waste in Milton.

  • Plastic and non-paper compost bags will not be collected.

Moreover, soil and construction debris is also not picked up. The accepted limit for weekly yard waste is 50 lbs. Residents need to hire private haulers if their cart weighs more than that.
