In December 2022, it was announced that Dallas’s changing its citywide trash pickup schedule starting from Dec 5. This news leaves many residents confused about their trash pickup schedule.

3. Dallas Trash Pickup Holidays

Usually, the sanitation administrative office is not closed on memorial Day, and the garbage is collected as usual. But there is a public holiday on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s day.

Then, the trash and bulk pickup schedule is moved to the next day.
